Eligibility Rules

Candidates must be aged between 21 and 30 years (inclusive) on the cut-off date, holding at least a Bachelor's degree with a second division or grade "C" from a recognized university.
The cut-off date is 31st December of the year preceding the examination year, which also determines eligibility for age, qualification, and domicile.
If you are below 21, above 30 even by a single day, or exactly 30 years old without age relaxation on the cut-off date, you are not eligible to apply.
Certain categories, including Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes, residents of AJK or Gilgit-Baltistan, special (disabled) candidates, and eligible Government employees, are allowed an upper age relaxation of two years (up to 32 years).
For CSS 2025, the cut-off date is 31st December 2024; candidates must also possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.
Candidates must be citizens of Pakistan or persons deriving nationality from the State of Jammu and Kashmir; those married to non-Pakistani citizens are not eligible without prior government permission.
