Electric current? (CSS 2012 General Science & Ability Paper)

Is caused flow of electrons
Flows from a higher potential to lower potential
Both of these given options
None of these given options

Electric current is the rate of flow of electrons in a conductor. The SI Unit of electric current is the Ampere. Electrons flow from the negative terminal to the positive. The direction of flow of current is from a higher potential to a lower potential in a circuit (from positive terminal to negative terminal). Electrical conductors are bodies in which the application of an electric field causes the creation of electric current due to the movement of electrons.
