This is the official syllabus for the CSS 2026 MPT, as provided by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), Islamabad.

CSS 2026 MPT Passing Marks Criteria

According to the official notification from the FPSC, the passing mark for the CSS 2026 MPT (MCQ-based Preliminary Test ) has been set at 33%. This means a candidate must score at least 66 out of 200 marks. This is a qualifying threshold, and candidates must pass this test to be eligible for the main written CSS examination. There is no negative marking in the test, and the screening test score does not count toward final merit. No candidate can sit for the written exam without qualifying this test, as it is mandatory.
